Let’s admit it, we’re all guilty … days get shorter, weather gets cooler, Christmas cookies and parties start to creep into our free time, we simple don’t get out and move as often during the holiday season. I’m just as guilty as the next person.

The goal of the #HolidayStreaking challenge was to keep people accountable to staying active and moving for 30 straight days between Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Humans are supposed to be active participants in the world around us but our present-day conveniences have drastically reduced human activity from our lives. Human Powered Movement's goal is to fight back. Our mission is facilitate greater human powered experiences in all of us.

I'm a gratefully exhausted father of 2 young knuckleheads, and each time we go to the park or play in the stream behind the house, it reminds me of the wholesome benefits that are ripe for the picking through unencumbered human movement in our natural environments. Excitement, wonder, a rush of endorphins, accomplishment … the list goes on.
