Why Competitions?

• Our mission is to inspire more activity in people's lives. Each of these events do exactly that
• Our events truly have an impact on the community as a whole
  • We source giveaways and prizes locally and sustainably to support local and small businesses
  • We bring friends, families, and communities together 
  • We give back to local non-profits that have an impact in their work
• There are countless "traditional" events out there. We  produce non-traditional events for those looking for something extra or a way to stretch their human powered capabilities.
• We get the same thrill out of these events as the participants!

How do these competitions support non-profits?

• 100% of additional donations during registration go to the event's beneficiary who are each doing incredible environmental work in their own areas of expertise
• We collect old shirts (cotton, polyester, blended) to be recycled in Recover's 360 Closed Loop Apparel Recycling Program 
• We collect old sneakers to be recycled/repurposed with GotSneakers.
• As of 2024, HPM events are proudly "Cup Free" to reduce our environmental impact
• As of 2025, HPM events are proudly "Safety Pin Free". Read more about this initiative HERE.
