MOVE: A Carbon Negative and Bare Bones MTB Ride

Following a solid year in Dec of 2024, the host venue underwent a significant trail overhaul which prevented the event to occur in 2025. We held the "MOVE" Run version at a different location that wasn't conducive to Mtn Bikes in Jan 2026, but have decided to retire this event due to the time and effort is takes to put on this event relative to the amount we were able to raise for the event beneficiary Trips for Kids - Charlotte. Our focus remains where we can have the most impact possible!

The following information has been kept as a time capsule from when we decided not to continued future "MOVE MTB" events in 2025.

Join HPM and the mountain bike community for an environmentally responsible pedal-powered party on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at North Meck Park near Charlotte.

This Carbon Negative & Bare Bones style event features a lot of non-traditional aspects:
NO to ... Registration Fees, Single Use Plastic, Category Awards, Pressure, and Negative Vibes
YES to ... Social Vibe, Environmental Responsibility, Raffle Items, Non-Profit Giveback and Endless Miles

Rip as many (or as few laps) as you would like in the 5 hour window!
