As of this Journal Entry, we’re just over halfway through the #FindYourSummit elevation challenge. It’s been invigorating to watch people from around the world participate in this monthlong elevation challenge in collaboration with Summit Coffee. Watching everyone stack up vert left and right brings brought back fond memories of a visit to one of our goal summits … Haleakalā. Bombing down 10,000+ ft from the top of a dormant volcano was certainly one of the most amazing cycling experiences of my life.

When planning a trip to Alaska last year, my crazy and “loving” husband mentioned two things. First, he argued that maybe he should go solo. Nope! I shot that down immediately. His next comment was something along the lines of “You know this trip isn’t just going to be hanging out and relaxing, right?”. It was time to buckle up for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Hi, I’m Cain. I'm 13 years old and I live in Breckenridge, CO. Outside of school, I love to run, Nordic ski, and play soccer. Living in an active "mountain town" like Breck, I get to see so many beautiful outdoor places and get to experience so many different things on a regular basis. It's pretty dang cool.

Anyone who's driven I-70 westbound from Denver, CO knows you can’t miss the north-south trending ridgeline that starts in the town of Frisco and weaves it's way towards Breckenridge. This is the Tenmile Range. This classic Colorado front-range line is visually stunning as the entire ridge dwells above 12,300ft with Peak 10 reaching skyward to over 13,600ft. As it turns out, this beautiful ridgeline is extremely challenging to run.
