Adv Club - Old Man Winter - 2025
Amelia Shea currently resides in the adventure-filled state of Colorado after growing up in Florida and spending 5 years in North Carolina. Her competitive spirit started when she was 5, spending most her time up thru college in a pool (swimming and water polo) but now finds new ways to feed her competitive appetite through a buffet of outdoor sports often in multisport fashion!
She is an annual offender at The Old Man Winter Bike Rally & Run in Lyons, CO. This full day of human-powered action offers multiple mixed terrain events throughout the day in the notoriously unpredictable weather of February which can offer up sun and smooth sailing or freezing and filthy conditions.
The RD strategically schedules start times where participants can run the 10K and ride in the 40 mile gravel race in the "Combo" Division for overall bragging rights ... perfect for Amelia as the 4-time consecutive winner of "Old Man Winter" Combo Category!
