Adventure Club - GRUSK Gravel
In addition to being a Stoke Squad Member, an ambassador for Recover and Poseidon Bikes, Justin Price is a husband, father of two, soccer coach, avid cyclist, lover of the outdoors, and of course … GRAVEL!
He recently took on the "Gravel Ride Up Spruce Knob" (aka: GRUSK) with the HPM Adventure Flag along for the ride.
GRUSK is an adventure ride on and around the highest point in West Virginia, Spruce Knob. The event embodies the true spirit of gravel, and showcases some fantastic West Virginia scenery. Before he even rolled up to the start line, Justin stopped on the way to the event and hiked Seneca Rocks, a popular rock climbing destination, to "warm up the legs".
Hindsight may indicate that it wasn’t the best idea heading into the next day's brutal gravel climbs, but he "couldn’t drive past it and NOT hike it" ... obviously, HPM supports this multisport mentality!
