Adventure Club - Bikepacking Across Ohio
After HPM aficionado Eric Osterhus met Gary Rapaich in Nepal while trekking to Everest Base Camp in 2023, the two decided it was about time for their next adventure. Bikepacking across the entire state of Ohio was the only logical choice.
Carrying the HPM Adventure Flag southbound along the Ohio to Erie Trail - comprised of 300+ miles of rail trails and canal paths traversing the Buckeye State – the adventure quickly shifted from smooth riding to navigating heavy winds and downed trees brought along by the remnants of Hurricane Helene.
