Adventure Club - Arizona Trail Thru Hike
Rachel Oswald is an ultra-runner and thru hiker, who enjoys being outside and challenging herself physically and mentally.
And as of May 2025, she is also officially a Two-Time Adventure Clubber (See: Rim to River 100 Miler HERE)
Rachel recently completed the entire Arizona Trail which traverses 800 miles from the Mexico border to the Utah boarder through the core of Arizona that connects deserts, mountains, canyons, forests, and communities.
She proudly carried the HPM Adventure Flag each and every nature loving step along the way!

- Lowest point Gila River 1,700’
- Highest Point Kibab Plateau 9,148’
- Lots of cowboy camping throughout:
- Night one camping at 8,500’ in a snow storm - woke up in the middle of the night listening to mountain lions
- Woke up another night of solo camping to a rodent running straight across my face and down the side of my body which resulted in me kicking and screaming
- Favorite night was camping at Cottonwood Campground in the Grand Canyon and watching the shooting stars
- Met some super rad people along the way
- Shot-gunned a ton of Twisted Teas
- Currently boycotting tortillas, tuna, chicken, and any Knorr side or ramen until further notice
